I waited all night to hear you sing
one more time
across the frozen plains
echoing across my wanting you
Where you have gone nothing prepares me
I look in the alley
I watch the internet
I listen to the change of the wind
If I had known you would be gone so long
I would have left you a trail
not for me to find you but for our paths to cross
perhaps in the outback
where we first found ourselves
lost at the start of the new age
Now I am lost from you
I am lost from myself
if only we could find one another to be lost
for the remainder of forever
together
I would feel found
