Comment: I cannot express in words the sorrow I feel over this tragic loss and my thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. I knew Leigh since we were in primary school together and though we lost touch as the years went on, I always admired and respected him. He was a terrific person with a great sense of humour and a good heart and he will be greatly missed by all. He will always be remembered as the wonderful person he was and will live forever in my heart and mind. God bles |

Comment: Words cannot do justice towards a friend i so very much admired and respected. He was a friend who was as remarkable as he was dedicated, and a friend who was as utterly likeable as he was accepting. For the late night barbeques in terrible light; for the funny films and sound bytes we would create through boredom; for the time myself, peter and nick dressed up as baseballers to be in the background of your sports tonight piece; for the many other unforgettable memories and, most of all, for bei |

Comment: Leigh was a client of mine and my partner, Gene Casaleggio. And although Gene got to know him a little better than I over the years, I hung out with Leigh down in the instructional league last September, and was amazed at how much he had grown and matured, both physically and as a person, since I had seen met him as a 15 year old kid. I will always remember Leigh as a genuinely good person with a great sense of humor who seemed to get along with everyone, no matter how different their backgrou |

Comment: Terrell and family, I am very saddened to hear about the news of Leigh's death. I served as General Manager of the South Georgia Waves in 2002 and got to know Leigh during his stay in Albany, Georgia. He is a wonderful person and an outstanding talent and will be sorely missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless You All. |

Comment: Dear Terrell Such sad news. As Leighs first baseball coach and the one who put him on the pitching plate so many years ago I was proud of his acheivements and took great joy in following his successes. I never met a kid who loved the game of baseball and the game of life as much as Leigh. He is now in his field of dreams. |
