SCENE 1

I escaped with the other refugees

through the infested subtopia swamps

As long as we were on earth

no place was safe.

The insurrections were only a test

to see how strong our humor really was

We laughed through the shellings

We laughed through the depravations

We laughed through cleansings

knowing our performance is not judged

on how we live our life

but whether we are laughing when we die.

SCENE 2

The minorities and oppressed

are now the best dressed

all those who had power

now locked in their towers

a tipsy-topsy-twirling-turvy world

the old way unfurled

we the minorities today

no longer have a say

we are the slaves

hid in their caves

when will it change - I don't know

but in this cycle it's time for us to go

let them all have their way

in the future again we'll have our say

We the new oppressed minority

the white-western-male
