05 November 2022 back home - Adelaide, South Australia until next trip. New Zealand was a hoot - loved it...

February 02 2023 - leaving in a week for KL, Pakistan, UK, Holland - hope to see you all along the way. Back in June. August - September: USA (New York, Chicago, DC, October in Valencia, Spain)

our first weeks in New Zealand BLOG IS UP

my first time

taken from our blog soon to be https://neuage.me/

1979 I was at our local astrological weekly thingy. I was taking nursing courses at Towson State University (Baltimore, Maryland) after a decade being stuck in a religious-metaphysical cult, trying to right my sinking ship. I took nursing because after a decade in a celibate (if only I had been) order I wanted to be more interactive with females. A bit sexist I suppose in today’s me-2 world of…anyway they were talking about an astrological conference in Auckland and then in Sydney. I had written articles – a booklet even on several astrological musings so I thought I should go. I did’t have any money for such a trip though I was working at Sheppard Pratt (a psychiatric hospital) whilst doing my nursing degree. In what I thought at the time a real message to go I received two credit cards in the mail the last day of registration. The two together were enough to buy the tickets to Auckland and Sydney. 42-years later I can’t remember if they ever got paid off…so much happened in the years after, name change, country change…children, women…anyway I went. Almost did’t get there – various things happened on the way. Actually, now that you have asked, I have a book (two actually) on all this “Leaving Australia, ‘Before the After’” and “Leaving Australia, ‘After’”. Available through Amazon, of course.

Whist in NZ I went from Auckland to Wellington with someone I met at the conference - we spent a few days together then I flew to Auckland - stayed with a new-found friend a couple of days then flew over to Sydney for the conference there. In a different twist of fate I could have ended up in NZ the past 40+ years.

January 1980 I was in New Zealand – went to the astrological conference, presented my research, ‘finding the Self through the 5th house’, and some other stuff happened. Amazing thought that some whom I interacted with then, when I was a mere two year past turning 30 would now be in their mid-70s or a bit younger if still alive. Strange thought. Then our little group from Baltimore went to Sydney for the conference there – I rambled on about my research for a week at the conference in Sydney. Had a difficult encounter with a female from Adelaide (where the hell is that? – I thought at the time) she popped up in Baltimore a few months later, we drove across the USA together drinking bottles of liquor the whole way. By the time we got to San Francisco we hated each other. I put her on a flight to Adelaide (wherever that was) and went on to Hawaii where my best friend said he was getting me an on-air astrological show of my very own. Of course, none of that worked out. One day with my best mate I was at a Ry Cooder concert and we were very stoned. I got home and had a collect phone call from Adelaide (wherever the hell that is), it was one of those ‘guess what?’ calls. Anyway, she arrived in Hawaii.

We did not get along – had to get married for her to stay in the USA – a short while later Sacha came along. A few months later it was “I am going home to Adelaide” (by then I had an idea where it was) if you want to see your son again…come along. So, June 1981 – I was in Adelaide. Now I knew where the hell Adelaide was. Started a tofu factory, had Leigh two years later – divorce soon after, and I had the children the rest of the time. Took them on visits to New York and Hawaii, California, etc when Leigh was 2 and a half and Sacha five (yes, by myself and those two) and again when they were 10 and 12, the second time we went on to France and Germany too. My tofu business fell apart- difficult being a single parent and running a business. Leigh got signed by the LA Dodgers in 2000 age 17. I became an Australian citizen in 1995. I met Narda between Christmas and New Year’s 2001 – we moved to New York 2002 – taught there until 2010 went to China until 2015 taught there. I got my PhD at the University of South Australia in 2005, took seven-years. In 2003 due to a horrible event in my life I let go of all prior metaphysical beliefs – especially astrology – I followed it from mid 1960s to 2003 – forty years of ridiculous stupid beliefs. Now I am happy with no specific beliefs – we are here we do the best we can we leave – that is it.

August 10 - To celebrate dragging myself to 75 years old we went to the Salvador Dali Exhibition @ the d'Arenberg Cube within the d'Arenberg vineyards, McLaren Vale. They have about 25 pieces of sculpture and paintings here in South Australia - the last Salvador Dali collection we saw was December 2005 in Paris - also my last alcohol drink - 17 years wow.

August 04 - very good few weeks with so many - Victor Harbor for a week - the wedding (fourth of this series - first three in Pakistan) and now everyone has flown home - Sacha to Melburne, Chris and familys to Washington DC, And the main event: Brendan and Sofie are now in Sri Lanka bording their plane back home to Lahore, Pakistan. What a quiet home now with children and others gone. Resting up until my birthday when I turn 75 next Wednesday - then to New Zealand for a couple of months. Then to Pakistan Thailand Vietnam Malaysia for our four month trip starting 2023. Watch our blog @ neuage.me for stuff.

July 12 - Chris and family (children age one year and 8 years) have arrived from Washington DC - Brendan and Sofie from Lahore Pakistan - Sacha and Georgia are coming over from Melbourne and Stu and family (with Maggie and Mabel 9 & 10 years old) are over from the southern suburbs here in Adelaide. Everyone is here for Brendan and Sofie's wedding - the fourth one as they had the first three days celebration and the actual marriage in Lahore a few months back - we were there - see our blog. This is their Australian celebration - more than one-hundred invited. So we have Chris and family and Brendan and family with us for this month and Sacha and Georgia are coming over for just the weekend party. See ya there.

June 08 - OK so we went to see the new Top Gun flick. really just because it is Narda's birthday (week - every day a celebration) and we couldn't find any other movie playing that was less silly. Saying that, we all need a good Hollywood ending movie in these times we live in. Our life is really good - getting ready for family visit from Pakistan an DC next month then going to New Zealand for a couple of months. Saying that, we are starting to get prepared for New Zealand - we are watching the series,Creamerie, (In the near future, a virus plague spreads around the globe, killing 99 percent of men, with the survivors sent to The Facility in New Zealand.) OK - lots of women there - we ar ready, I think. The last time I was in New Zealand was 1980, January when I went there from Baltimore where I was living at the time, for an astrology conference. Following that I went to Australia, for another astrology conference and now here I am - been here since 1981 - except for nine years back in New York and three years in China. BTW no longer believe in astrology after 40-years writing and speaking about it - now I have realized it is bullshit. Welcome to old age.

May - Who knew retirement would be so busy: garden, grandchildren, Aqua Zumba/Gym, travel planning (New Zealand two-months, September - November) house full of folks in July: Brendan/Sofie - Pakistan, Chris/Jessica + children, Washington DC, Sacha/Georgia, Melbourne plus local family...Planning four-month trip January-April 2023, Lahore, Thailand, Malaysia... August-November 2024: Chicago, New York, DC, Wales...and I have several of my own creative projects on the go

May 10 - Twenty years ago, May 11, 2002, Narda and I did the marriage thingy - then went to New York for nine years, China three years...here we are in Adelaide - celebrating in Glenelg for a few days. Cheers!

April 09 - Because no one asked; Back in Australia after four-months travel to Lahore Pakistan (3-weeks), Washington DC (3-weeks) & The Netherlands (10-weeks). We have had six covid-19 tests: Melbourne to fly to Lahore, Lahore to fly to DC, arrival in DC, DC to Holland, Holland to South Australia, upon arrival in South Australia. Here we are negative and free. We got our second booster yesterday (Moderna) five months after the first booster (Pfizer) after getting our two Astra Zeneca vaccines last year. Plus, we had covid in DC, so we think we should be OK for a while. Plus, we still wear masks in public. We will get our flu shot next week. The trip was great though stressful and difficult due to all the covid testing and restrictions. We will finish up our blog next week and post at https://neuage.me/

our clips from The Netherlands: Ijmuiden Day Trip / windmill / Escher in Het Paleis / The Hague / Gouda Bike Tour / Hook of Holland / Windmills of Kinderdijk / 's Hertogenbosch/ / World Court / Euromast Rotterdam / Utrecht / Bike Ride / Leiden - our final clip of the trip

April 4 - leaving for Australia today. Tested negative last night. Five tests, four months, four countries.

April 01 - snow last night here in Leiden - first snow this year - saw snow our last days in DC before coming here then our last days here before leaving for Australia. Cold too - below freezing.

March - 30th - leaving Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel Zuid-Holland this morning for Leiden where we will be until leaving for Australia next Monday the 4th of April. Wish us luck with getting our covid-test prior to leaving. Our fourth test: 1 - Melbourne to go to Pakistan 2. Pakistan to go to DC 3. DC to go to Holland - when I tested positive for two-weeks and we had to change our flight every day until I was negative 4. Holland to go to Australia - yet to test

- 28th - packing for return trip to Australia next Monday after four-months of travel. Currently seeing sections of The Netherlands.

10 February. Bought our flight back to Adelaide for April 4th on Qatar Airways (Skytrax named Qatar Airways as the world's best airline.) stopping in Doha (World's Best Airport 2021). Originally booked with Singapore Airlines but it has sat in ‘pending’ for a week in our bank account, so we went to Malaysian Airlines – spent two days with trying to get their website to work properly – many long-waiting phone calls with no help. Gave up and discovered Qatar had 21-hour flights direct to Adelaide with just a two-hour stop in Doha. Singapore Airlines was 35+ hours with a long stop in Singapore and Malaysian had a 17-hour stop in KL. So, we found the best flight at the lowest price of the three airlines that fly into Adelaide. Also, we get 30-kilos each luggage which may be enough for all the crap we bought along the way. Day trip to Ijmuiden Day Trip

In other news, we are settled into our routine of riding bikes to the gym every other day (half-hour each way), except for a couple of days when it rained too hard, feeding the six chooks and two bunnies we are looking after, riding bikes to Jumbo, our local supermarket and doing a whole lot of nothing. Yesterday we took a day trip to a fishing village (Ijmuiden) – that was fun.

18th January - We arrived in Holland - due to storm in DC/Newark several hours later than anticipated - but we arrived. Little to no sleep for 36 hours - just slept eleven hours straight - never did that before. Here we are in Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel Zuid-Holland (half hour from Rotterdam) for the next two months. Even got an exemption from doing quarantine because we are visiting family here – go figure. Should have time to do our blog of Pakistan and DC now that we will be settled in one place.

16th January - finally tested negative after fifteen days -

13th January - I am still testing positive every day - 13 days since first time. No symptoms - feel good all the time. Ground Hog Day everyday: we are up at 6 am take a test, cancel our government rapid test to travel, cancel our flight to Amsterdam - seven days in a row now. We even ran out of travel insurance but our insurer insured us for another week - until the 18th, hopefully can go by then. In the meantime we explore Washington DC.

7th January - Narda tested negative - the rest of us all feeling good. Yesterday Narda and I went to the Capitol. Lots of media and police, we were the only 'else'. Inside the Capitol President Biden was giving his January 6 speech. We were hoping to go inside. Nevertheless, we had a nice morning there.

Book of Terrell Neuage

2nd January - Narda feeling better, day three for me - slight headache and a bit of a cough feeling OK.
January 1 2020 We keep changing our trip; supposed to be in upstate NY now but once again cancelled everything. Hopefully to be both negative and to The Netherlands on 15 of January. So far changed hotels/train/car rental/flights three times. Hours and hours on the phone - when caught up will write up blog for Lahore and post it at https://neuage.me/

31st - pretty much the same as the 30th December Narda feeling better - third day of covid - I tested negative feeling good. Changed Amtrak to NYC to a couple of weeks forward then to Oneonta NY to see my sister then to Holland on the 17th of January. Hopefully all will be good by then.

Oops - we have been so careful being triple vaccinated, masked, washed up. Negative to get on the flight in Lahore...but lo and behold Chris tested positive three days after arriving home from Lahore. Then Jessica. We took our test the next day..testing negative after arriving from Lahore yippie negative. However, Narda started feeling yucky yesterday, sore throat...so we took the full PCR test for covid - waited in line for two hours. December 28 Narda in front of testing site sign in Washington DC This morning she feels awful - sore throat, super headache - probably fever. We will do the home kit test this morning as we wait for the results of yesterday. Hoping we are not positive as we have our Amtrack ticket to NYC for tomorrow and to my sister's in upstate New York on New Year's Day. So far this morning, Day Three + 12 hours (84 hours) I feel good considering the jet lag and all.

latest grandchild December 25 2021 January 6 visit to Capitol

25 December - WE ARE HERE - arrived in DC December 25. Our flight between Lahore and Istanbul was delayed by five hours so we missed our flight to DC on the 24th. Overnight at hotel in airport - spent Christmas in the Turkish Airlines lounge - ate ourselves silly...I drank a lot of coffee, especially Turkish coffee. Our flight left at 3.45 pm Christmas Day and even though we had flatbed seats I did not get any sleep during the 12-hour flight, too much coffee. We had free Wi-Fi the whole way, so I spent too much time on the internet. Narda slept - lucky her. However, after not sleeping 24-hours I slept in DC 10 pm straight through to six am which is a first for time zone differences as much as Istanbul & DC. @ DC airport - being the only plane with perhaps half full we went through customs very quickly, unlike Pakistan where they took 45 minutes, and they were quite confused as I came in on an Australian passport and visa and left on a USA passport and Narda had her USA visa because I am a dual citizen and Narda just an Australian. We got a taxi to Chris and Jessica's house and with little traffic got there in about half an hour. The driver was from Afghanistan, pro Trump with family there he lost contact with two weeks ago. We felt sorry for him but not clear why he or anyone in their correct thinking would want anything for trump except to be in prison. We gave him a hundred dollars for a $78 fare. He said he waited at the airport 12 hours for a passenger, we were the only one - which being Christmas Day could be true.

04 December - Due to omicron & worries about borders we have moved our trip forward by a week - Lahore Pakistan arrived the fourth of December. See ya soon, on our (covid) 15-week world tour: Abu Dhabi (UAR), Lahore Pakistan (December 4 - 22), Istanbul Turkey (December 23), Washington DC (December 24 - 30), New York City (December 30 - 31), Oneonta New York (January 1 - 4), Washington DC (January 4 - 17), Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel & Utrecht Netherlands (January 18th) return to Australia late March 2022 [what could possibly go wrong] See our photos in Facebook - our first video clip 'going for a bit of a shop in Lahore' & this & Lahore Dress Maker

Three days after booster..November 22nd. a bit sore arm first day, now not, same with Narda. No other reaction. No more updates to this as it is a non-event, except that we are now ready to travel the world. See you soon.

Getting our booster today November 19th - Pfizer. Will give an update tomorrow and day after how we feel. A couple of weeks shy of six-months but want to have it befor going to Lahore Pakistan in 20-days.

One week after major surgery - November 18th - still feeling a bit crap. 21 days before we leave for Lahore - should be fine by then, though doctor says should not travel for four weeks.

Nice to be home - November 13th - after three days in hospital. We celebrated by purchasing our DC to NYC Amtrak ticket end of December and a couple of nights including New Year's Eve in NYC then a train up to Albany on New Year's Day - renting a car, driving over to my sister in Oneonta for a few days then train back to NYC - Washington DC for a couple of weeks before going over to the Netherlands for two months. Sidenote: medical here in Adelaide is great. Hospital is great, not crowded, groovy nurses, food rather crap, everything including surgery went well. Now to recover.

Last day updating this for the rest of this week as I go into hospital for surgery tomorrow morning, Thursday, the 11th of the 11th month (cosmic huh?) @ 6.30 AM. They reckon if all goes well, I should be out sometime Saturday or Sunday. Not looking forward to it, but what is life if we don't have these events? Cheers. Three weeks before going overseas too.

RECEIVED MY USA PASSPORT RENEWAL TODAY 05 November - backstory > I realized three weeks ago that my USA passport had expired. I had not used it for three years and had forgotten about it. I used my Australian passport for the last few trips in Europe and Asia. I only need my USA passport to get into the States. Online it said expect 6 – 8 weeks to get it which would have meant I would not have it in time to go on this trip as we are leaving December 09 for Lahore and to DC Christmas Eve. Amazingly the US passport renewal came from Melbourne within two weeks. Thanks Melbourne US Consulate.

GOT OUR VISA FOR PAKISTAN TODAY (November 1) two more hurdles to get over yet...

BIG NEWS - in our world... we bought our tickets to Lahore yesterday (Ethihad) - ) the 21st of October, leaving Australia December 09. The first day that Australia opened internationally. So, we are off to 'the wedding' on the 18th of December in Lahore, will tell more of the family member that is for soon... then to DC for Christmas...see below.

Just paid for our next segments: Lahore - Istanbul - Washington DC arriving Christmas Eve in DC (Turkish Airlines) and in January to Holland (United). We got up in the middle of the night - 2 AM, unable to sleep, and bought the DC to Amsterdam segment. We will deal with getting back to Australia in the future - once/if we get to Holland...so much can go wrong. We lost the trip in 2020 (including Queen Mary II Hamburg to NYC, Amtrak DC to Chicago for a month...) then this year we bought tickets to New Zealand for two months - then of course they closed the borders last month. Hopefully, this will work.

Doing well. South Australia looks as if they will be opening borders soon. International borders open to us as of Novemeber 1...We are looking/booking international trips - will tell all soon (Pakistan - Washington DC - The Netherlands = 3 months away December - March, if Australia will grant leave.). For now, we go to Aqua Zumba most mornings - ride our e-bikes through our hilly suburb and to the wooded bike trails not too far away. Life is good. Cheers

03 October This morning our power was off - reportage outage for another three-hours. I had to make instant coffee on our gas burner - our beaut coffee maker-foaming hot milk apparatus being electricity did not go on. Yesterday, as we do every other day, we went to our aqua Zumba class and to the gym.

We live in South Australia. The other states have all sorts of lockdowns. My son in Melbourne as all others cannot go to the gym - we on the other hand have been going throughout the Covid-19 thingy. How lucky! Re. the power outage - very rare. I don't even remember the last time it was down. I still power up my computer via battery - I still have Wi-Fi on my computer via Personal Hotspot from my latest magical phone. I still have coffee, how be it, not as nice as the espresso machine. Life is wonderful. I am so sorry for the rest of the world where power is often non-existence, where coffee is a once long-ago dream, where lockdown keeps people within their neighbourhood (like the rest of Australia) where life is just so difficult. So lucky to live in Adelaide - why don't you come and stay with us. The caravan is like a spare house, we have a large tent to put up in the backyard for the rest of you. Life is good here. We would love to share it with you.

In the meantime, read my book ‘Leaving Australia’ Book 1 or Book 2. Thanks mate!

We are now both fully vaccinated. yippie hippies. Including the booster.

In Cairns this week. Three weeks ago I got my second jab (The AstraZeneca) in Cairns - no reaction yet, just a bit of a sore arm...yippie - now to find somewhere to travel..We can't go back home as we are next in New South Wales and our homestate, South Australia's border is closed to New South Wales so it may be a long time before we return. But hey, I am shot-up. Only 24-hours with no reaction but they say it is between 4 - 30 days so I will see. Towns araound us are closing down then opening - every day sees so many changes - happily camping away from people. cheers

Beautiful camping @ Atherton War Memorial Campgrounds for past three days. Now at Ringers Rest Camping, Mareeba for four days.

Bought our tickets for three-weeks to New Zealand in September - October this year. Hopefully, the bubble between our two countries holds. Today we began our three-month caravan trip across Australia. For now, we will avoid Victoria which is closing down due to three or four covid cases. We will go straight up through Broken Hill - NSW and into Queensland as far North as possible. My next covid injection is for the end of June and we have it booked in for Cairns Queensland. Hope to see some of you all along the way. If not maybe in New Zealand. The last time I was in New Zealand was in 1980 when I went there from Baltimore Maryland USA for an astrological conference. It has probably changed a bit.

In South Australia, the nanny state, we have a COVID QR-code reader on our phone. Every shop/business/building we go into has a “COVID SAfe Check-In, to enhance contact tracing and keep our community COVID safe. If someone in South Australia tests positive to COVID-19, the COVID SAfe Check-In enables SA Health to quickly contact others who may have been exposed to the virus and stop the spread of COVID-19.”
Yesterday they closed a whole shopping centre, locking everyone inside, to check that everyone had signed in; either on their phone or had handwritten their phone # and name. The fine for not doing so is $1000 to the individual and $5000 to the business. We were at the grandchildren’s netball game yesterday – outdoors – and a person came around checking that we had signed in…for an outdoor event.
Sometimes Narda and I forget to sign in but now that there are plainclothes police in places, we are much more vigilant. It is annoying but with that no one wears mask – we still try to social distance and scrub up at home and everywhere has lots of sanitization stuff to smear over various body parts so life in general is normal and good.
That is life in South Australia

With a bit of "extra" time (we have 32-hour days here in South Australia) I have been 'fixing' pages I did back in the 1990s of my "picture-poem" series. Starting here. Many links were broken over the past 20+ years. It takes time but as we are only going to aqua fittness in the morning - riding our new e-bikes for an hour and getting the caravan ready for our 3-month trip across Australia to warmer northern Queensland starting June 1st... I am getting as many of these pages done as possible. There are probably more than a thousand...I was very busy with internet stuff in the 1990s as my PhD was on that.

What we love about these e-bikes is that we peddle along as always; however, when coming to a hill we can put the e-stuff on and there is a setting 1-5, dependant on the hill, and we go up it as if we were on a straight road with the e-assistance. We live in a hilly area. In the past we would drive to the flat area of Adelaide and ride bike paths. Now every day we ride down the hill to the shops and easily ride back home. We have named our bikes Jack and Jill as they love to go up the hill.

We got our Pajero truck (Billy) back after waiting six-weeks for a part from China. Up to last week we were taking buses everywhere - to the gym, shops, grandchildren, movies... now we have a new car, new e-bikes (started riding them yesterday - what a dream... living in a hilly area - WOW, and now our truck. So many modes of transport to choose from. This means we can hook up the caravan (Holiday) to our truck (Billy) and go cross country to Northern Queensland starting first of June (2021) which was our plan months ago before Billy ended up in hospital waiting for parts from China. Yippie!

Took the 'Overland' for the day (12-hours) Melbourne - Adelaide (and back - obviously...). We have been following 'The Man in seat 61' for worldwide train travels for many years. He has a section on The Overland

In Melbourne - bought two Jordaan+ Lekker electric bikes as they were not available in South Australia. They will be sent over in the next two weeks - very excited.

Just another American (living in Australia) in his seventies who got his first covid shot (astrazeneca vaccine) – Tuesday morning the 30th of March. No side effects - a bit of a sore spot on my arm where the needle went in - that went away soon after, but no other stuff. Joining the many millions of Yanks and the few Australians to get this process started so we can visit you soon. Narda must wait awhile – too young.

NOTE: "The AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine uses an adenovirus, in this case a monkey virus that the human immune system doesn't recognize." Since getting the shot I have been eating more bananas - how about you?

Wednesday the 14th April got my flu shot and the Prevnar 13® shot - sore arm but some more protection.[for the prevention of pneumococcal pneumonia and invasive disease caused by 13 Streptococcus pneumoniae strains (1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F].

life @ our home in Adelaide Australia ~~ neuageVIEW twenty years and more ago

Our current covid-19 status (Narda and me) @ home page for Neuage - we arrived in Adelaide after 10 weeks in the Netherlands [March 2020 - now last year] on flights back via Amsterdam and Singapore. We have been given amazing help with a home in Swan Reach along the Murray River where we did our quarantine of two weeks in Adelaide until the 8th of April 2020.

As of 28 June Tuesday 8 AM. We feel good. If you are in Pakistan, East Coast USA, The Netherlands, December (2021 - April (2022) we will pop in. Cheers. Fully vaccinated X 3.

The other day we went to the movies - saw Peter Rabbit with the grandchildren - almost fell to sleep: either because they wear us out or the movie was that boring. Preferred 'Nomadland' which we saw without children. Really a top flick - We consider ourselves grey-nomads travelling about Australia in our caravan - though we have a nice home to come back to and each other so not the same as the movie but still the thought of living the rest of our life on the road is thinkabl02 We bought a new MG - can't come to visit you so we bought this - also, our truck is in the shop and the parts to fix it are held up in China - could be months before we get it back and take our caravan across Australia which was our plan. At least we have a car.

Yesterday we bought a new MG - can't come to visit you so we bought this - also, our truck is in the shop and the parts to fix it are held up in China - could be months before we get it back and take our caravan across Australia which was our plan. At least we have a car.

Always good to have my son, Sacha, come over from Melbourne to visit for a few days. What a life we have lived..."Leaving Australia, 'Again’: Book 2 ‘After’"

Book 2 tells the journey of being a male single parent in a foreign country. I tell the path that took one son all the way to being a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers to his death and the path of my other son from a difficult adolescence to a well-integrated human. My own path took me from being a high school drop out to a PhD and teaching at universities and seven years as a tofu manufacturer amongst many other attempts at finding a place in life.

and so it began 1981 Honolulu 1981 Honolulu, Hawaii - 'and so it began'

We are currently home in Adelaide after three weeks in Darwin. We are acting out our ususal 'living like a local' meaning we go to aqua fitness classes - see how we see the world today Planning for our next trip which will be taking the caravan over to Queensland and touring the Outback May - October. Yesterday we saw the movie 'Blackbird' with Kate Winslet. We do aqua zumba and aqua fittness three times a week and lots of weights, keeping fit.

PS...I still love you

We recently took a five-week drive to the New South Wales coast, camping in our caravan - see our blog uploaded just the other day @ https://neuage.me/.

Last year (2020) I unpacked a box of ties that I used to collect from thrift shops around the world while teaching in: New York, China, Australia between 2002 and 2018. With being stuck at home I decided to wear a different tie everyday. 183 of them. 183 days non-stop. Travels with my ties became ties in isolation.

We do have a short covid story / A cautionary tale from when my son Sacha came to Adelaide from Melbourne recently.

cheers!

Drop us a line we miss you so. would you join me on Facebook? Well why not? Facebook / twitter Twitter or of course email/phone/letter or just drop by one day..

The ties are due to needing to wear a tie when I was teaching in New York & China (2002 - 2014) - I started collecting ties from thrift shops etc. around the world for the next decade.
Instead of tossing them out I am doing this dumb challenge as I am @ home and cannot visit you. I think there are over 100.
